Check-in/Check-out Policies

This property has the following check-in and check-out times and policies:

Check-In: 3:00 PM

Check-Out: 12:00 PM

Late Check-out Hour: 3:00 PM

Late Check-out Fees: 50%

Late check-out (after 12:00 PM and before 3:00 PM) may result in a fee.

Terms and Conditions

RATES AND DEPOSIT·       

The room rates are not including the VAT (13%) and the service charge (10%) but include breakfast.·       

At the time of booking, to secure it, we will pre-authorise your credit card for the full amount of your stay.

 If you complete a booking based on a rate that has been incorrectly posted, the Guest House reserves the right to correct the rate or cancel the reservation at its discretion and will contact you directly in order to do so. 

CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT TIME·       

Check-in time is from 15:00 and check-out time is till 12:00.·     

A valid passport is required at check-in. 
AIRPORT PICKUP

Please note that you can request an airport pickup from the international airport by submitting your flight details at least 48 hours in advance. The cost for the transfer will be USD 25.
EARLY ARRIVAL AND LATE DEPARTURE·       

Should you arrive at the Guest House prior to the normal check-in time, you are welcome to store your luggage with us.·       

Late check-outs are available on request, subject to room availability and occupancy level.·       

Please check with the GuestHouse’s Front Desk at least 24 hours prior to your departure on availability of late check-out. A half-day room cost may be charged for late check-out, between 12:00 to 15:00 and a full day room cost may be charged for late check-out after 15:00. 
CREDIT CARD PAYMENT·       

A valid credit card is required for all reservations, in order to secure your booking.·       

The Newa Chen Guest House accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express, China Union Pay (CUP), Discover&Diners, Japan Credit Bureau (JCB), Apple pay, Google pay. 
TAXES·       

A 10% Service Charge is added to your room cost and the VAT (13% of the total cost) is applied to your final bill.  
CANCELLATION POLICY·       

Cancellations and/or amendments must be made 14 days prior to your arrival, in order to get a full refund.·       

A non-refundable rate cannot be cancelled or amended.·       

Cancellation, no-show or amendment made within 14 days prior arrival will incur a cancellation fee equivalent to the total room charge (inclusive of any applicable prevailing government tax. 
CHILDREN·       

Children are welcome at Newa Chen, kids under the age of 3 sleeping in parents’ bed are free of cost. Kindly note that if an extra bed is required in the parents’ room, the fee for it is USD 30/night, breakfast included. (If one adult and one child above 3 years of age take a double room, the rate is the normal double room rate). 
GENERAL PROVISIONS·       

By proceeding with the reservation, you further agree and acknowledge that if the reservation is accepted by the Guest House, your stay subsequently shall be subject to its standard terms and conditions.·       

The Guest House may, at its absolute discretion, cancel the reservation if it is of the opinion that the reservation information provided is falsified or incomplete.
Any reservation made with debit card or invalid credit card shall be cancelled by the Guest House.·       

The Guest House shall be entitled to vary, amend and/or change these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.·       

The Guest House shall not be liable for any losses, damages, costs or expenses occurred to the client as a result of any cancellation of the reservation by the Guest House.·       

Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and that additional charges may apply.
